The STIHL RT 4082 31″ Petrol Ride-On Lawnmower is the perfect machine for when you need to mow a large area but don’t want to struggle driving around obstructions such as trees and flowerbeds, it is compact and highly manoeuvrable with a small turning circle that allows maximum range of movement without sacrificing mowing capability. Designed with ease of use in mind, this machine’s hydrostatic drive is operated through a single pressure-sensitive pedal, while a hand lever switches between forward and reverse gear, with a separate pedal used to brake and bring the machine to an immediate stop.

Engaging and disengaging the blades is very straightforward through the use of a single button located on the dash control panel beneath the steering wheel, and the height of cut can be adjusted with the lever on the right-hand side of the driver’s seat, so you always have full control of the machine.

When the times comes to empty the grassbox, this can be done without having to dismount, by pulling out the grassbox handle which is accessibly located behind the driver’s seat. Alternatively, an optional mulching kit can be purchased and fitted to this machine, removing the need for a grassbox. The special mulching blade finely shreds the grass and deposits these clippings back onto the lawn, promoting healthy lawn growth by acting as a natural fertiliser.
